We give back to, connect with, & invest in Summit County.
Like a lot of other businesses in Summit, Dog Days is active in our little mountain community. We support the Summit County Animal Shelter with a small annual donation and we can occasionally be found walking dogs there. We also partner with Friends of the Dillon Ranger District to "Scoop the Poop" and pick up all of the rogue dog sh!t that gets left behind on our beautiful trails. So far in 2026, our volunteers have picked up over 130 lbs of dog poop!
A rising tide lifts all boats. We believe in community over competition and strengthening our connections with other pet care professionals in the area. If, for whatever reason, we can't fulfill your service requests, we will do our best to put you in contact with trusted alternatives who can. We aren't afraid to refer out to other trusted sitters & walkers, and if your pup's training needs a little polishing, we can recommend a trainer.
In addition, the owner of Dog Days of Summit is an active volunteer with Summit County Rescue Group and when she's not walking dogs, she enjoys assisting people & pets who need a little bit of help getting out of the backcountry.
